Tape Rack - Ableton Live FX Rack
TAPE RACK is a free Ableton Live fx rack inspired by the magic of tape sound. Featuring control over pitch modulation, drop outs, saturation, distortion, and noise, it is my attempt to put years of experience making music with cassette tape toward creating something that can help others to explore that sound. While no digital device is going to recreate the real thing, this device gives you creative control over many of cassette tape’s signature traits.
Tape Rack requires ABLETON LIVE SUITE 10.1.25 or newer (you don't need the newest version, Live 11 btw)

This device will introduce 19 milliseconds of latency on the track it is affecting. While this is often not noticeable, it can be fixed using delay compensation or by adjusting the placement of the audio or midi region. Or, you might dig it. I usually do.
